A Little About Me...

Welcome!
My name is Gabriel Watson (you can call me Gabe), and I am a licensed psychologist. In this role, I help children understand and solve problems that are getting in the way of their ability to live healthy and fulfilling lives. Sometimes this problem is a learning disability, or a struggle focusing to get things done. Maybe it's a challenge having conversations, playing with others, or making friends. Oftentimes, children feel anxious and sad about these challenges. Other times they may lash out because they feel unheard, overwhelmed, or misunderstood. Through neuropsychological assessment and therapy, I enjoy working alongside children and their families to help them better understand their challenges, and create support plans that meet their specific circumstances. I have been lucky enough to provide assessments and therapy within a variety of educational and treatment settings, and have learned so much from my clients and colleagues about what it takes to be a good psychologist. If you would like to learn more about how I approach my role as a psychologist, click the 'Clinical Values' button below. When I am not at the office I enjoy spending time with family, learning and playing with my kids, getting outdoors, seeing live music, and fumbling through DIY house projects. Born and raised in St. Paul, I am also intimately familiar with long winters and largely disappointing professional sports teams. |
